What’s a Welly Wang?Low flying wellies sign

A Welly Wang is a wellington boot throwing competition. That’s it, simple!

Who can compete?

Anyone can. There are several entry categories depending on your age and gender, but the aim is for everyone to have a go and have fun trying to beat your friends and neighbours.

Will it cost anything?

The EHPFA is trying to raise some funds, so yes we will be asking for a small contribution when you particiapte.

What can I win?

There will be trophies for the winners of each entrance category, and we’ll be keeping a leaderboard at the event so you can see how you’re doing compared to everyone else. And don’t forget to keep a note of your own best distances so you can brag about it later.

What are the rules?

The provisional rules for the Wang are shown below. Please note that these may change on the day, and that the EHPFA committee’s decision is final.
